Copper Basin Easter Meals
March 2026
On November 1st of 2025, members of the New Hope Baptist Church traveled with Steve and Vicki Puckett to the Copper Basin Crisis Center to assist with unloading coats and winter clothing that our church and other organization donors provided. They actively participated by sorting and hanging clothes on racks and preparing items for individuals in urgent need. Families came in and picked up coats, hats, and gloves that morning. New Hope also purchased and installed a new stove for the Crisis Center. Following the event, which lasted several hours that morning, our church volunteers were given a comprehensive tour of the Copper Basin Crisis Center. Afterwards, the group enjoyed a meal at "Pat's Kountry Kitchen", fostering Christian fellowship among everyone present. The overall experience was viewed positively, marking it as a successful trip, and there are intentions to participate in the Coat and Winter Clothing drive again next year.
