Have You Come to the End of Yourself?

That can be a dangerous question if we're not careful how we answer it.

Because if I believe for one moment that I still have something within myself worthy of confidence apart from Christ, it's no wonder I continue to come up empty. No wonder the battles seem overwhelming.

I am thankful the Lord brought me to the place where I realized I had to come to the end of myself before I could fully surrender to Him.

It is there that Christ becomes everything.

He is my confidence when I have none.He is my assurance when doubts arise. He is my strength when I am weak.He is my peace when life feels chaotic. He is my joy when circumstances offer none.

The only explanation is Jesus.

Each morning we are called to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and put on the full armor of God. Not because the greatest battles are physical, but because the greatest battles are often mental and spiritual.

There is a real battle for your soul every day.

If we are not prepared, we can easily find ourselves living in defeat, deception, discouragement, and even despair. But God has not left us defenseless.

Take up the Word of God your spiritual sword.

Fill your mind with His truth.Stand upon His promises.Walk in obedience to His Word.

As you do, you'll discover a strength that was never yours to begin with it was Christ living and working through you all along.

So if you're weary today, keep fighting the good fight of faith. Stand firm. Jesus has never lost a battle, and He isn't about to start now.

We're almost home, soldier.

"For when I am weak, then am I strong." — 2 Corinthians 12:10
